myGaze – is an assistive technology, which was developed by a company with the same name. This eye-tracker is a compact device (24cm x 3cm x 3,5cm). You can use it with tablets and computer displays, which diagonal is lower than 22”. This device contains a camera and an infrared emitter. His device allows you to control user’s sight with accuracy of 0.5 degree.
This eye-tracker can work in various lighting conditions. The user may use as glasses, as well as contact lenses, which will not affect accuracy of user’s sight tracking. The working field of myGaze is 32cm x 21cm with a distance of 61cm. Manufacturer recommends to keep the device 50-75cm away from the user. Working frequency of the device is 30Hz, while response time is not higher than 50ms.
myGaze can work in Microsoft Windows XP, 7 (32-bit and 64-bit), 8 (32-bit and 64-bit) operation systems. It requires one USB 2.0 port. It’s recommended to use this eye-tracker on computers, based on Intel i3, i5, i7 (with processor’s frequency over 2.8GHz).
